March 2026 Severe Weather (Disaster DR-4917-ID)

On June 30, President Donald Trump has approved the State of Idaho’s Major Disaster Declaration to help six Idaho counties and areas affected by damaging winds followed by intense rainfall from an atmospheric river which caused catastrophic flooding, landslides, and debris runoff.

State, Local, Tribal, or Territorial (SLTT) government agencies, and certain Private Non-Profit (PNP) organizations in Benewah, Bonner, Clearwater, Kootenai, Latah, and Nez Perce counties may be eligible for disaster related assistance under the FEMA Public Assistance Program. Potential Applicants must submit a Request for Public Assistance (RPA) to IOEM by July 30, 2026.
