April 2024 Severe Storm, Flooding, Landslides, and Mudslides (Disaster DR-4789-ID)

On June 10, President Joe Biden approved a Major Disaster Declaration to help three Idaho counties and areas affected by a severe storm in April. State, Local, Tribal, or Territorial (SLTT) government agencies, and certain Private Non-Profit (PNP) organizations in Idaho, Lewis, and Shoshone Counties may be eligible for disaster related costs under the FEMA Public Assistance Program. Potential Applicants must submit a Request for Public Assistance (RPA) to IOEM by July 10, 2024.

In July, officials from the Idaho Office of Emergency Management (IOEM) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) visited the affected areas to tour the damage firsthand.
