The Public Affairs Office of the Idaho Office of Emergency Management (IOEM)
provides critically important safety information to the public, and media about
issues relating to natural or man-made disasters in the state. The information
sharing process can happen, before, during or after a significant event. Our
mission is to provide the right information to the right people at the right
time.
Public Affairs outreach efforts
are achieved using a variety of methods including television, print, social
media and WebEOC – the information sharing platform used by IOEM and all Idaho
counties and Tribes.
